Raj Zutshi’s valuable advice to him from more than 12 years back.
Pawan Kumar’s video features him talking about his struggling days in Mumbai in the late 2000s. The actor had spent over 15 months in the city working under different
directors
to become a successful director. He was trying to survive with smaller rooms, depressed and frustrated with life. Then Pawan met veteran actor Raj Zutshi in a cafe and showed him his works, and told his problems, hoping that he would give him contacts. Instead, the star asked him to go back to his hometown Bangalore and work there. Raj also gave him the example of Girish Kasarvalli who has done great work and was one of the most sought after directors in Bangalore back then.
Pawan Kumar went on to say that he did shift back to Bangalore after this advice, and made his career in Kannada film industry. He also advised people who have moved back to their towns because of Coronavirus to not give up and create opportunities for themselves in their hometowns.
