, who is a popular name in the Punjabi music video scene and has collaborated with
Badshah, is coming to Sandalwood. She has been roped in for a special number in
Dheeren Ramkumar
’s launchpad Shiva 143, the final schedule of which gets underway this week. Directed by
Anil Kumar of
Raambo 2
fame, the film is nearly complete, but for this song.
Anil explains, “We are currently shooting the song at a studio in Bengaluru. An
Arjun Janya composition, I have written the lyrics of the song, which is being choreographed by Santhu. Namrita will dance with Dheeren and Sadhu Kokila in the song.”
Dheeren, meanwhile, is thrilled that he is back on set and giving finishing touches to his debut film. “I come in for a few parts of the song where I dance with Namrita and Sadhu sir. I’m eager to see how people will receive my debut film,” he says.
Shiva 143, which also has Manvita Kamath in the lead, is said to be the official remake of the Telugu hit
RX100
. The team has shot for the film mostly in Mysuru and Bengaluru and is looking at wrapping up principal photography by Thursday, and then head into post production.
