Shreyas Manju's new film with director
Nanda Kishore has been on the cards for quite some time but without any major update. The prospect had garnered a lot of attention post the success of Nanda Kishore's 'Pogaru' but the second wave of the pandemic came in between to spoilsport and the makers too were forced to stay mum for a while. Well, the team seems to have hit the strides as the title of the film got unveiled earlier today via social media along with the first official poster.
Titled '
Raana', the new Nanda Kishore-Shreyas Manju project is being produced by Gujjal Purushotham with K. Manju presenting it in the theatres. It was previously reported that the makers had chosen Ajaneesh B Loknath as the film's music composer but turns out popular rapper
Chandan Shetty will return to working with Nanda Kishore after the success of 'Pogaru' - this would be Shetty's eighth project as a film composer. The film's first look shall be revealed soon and there has been no information divulged yet regarding 'Raana's leading lady.
On the other hand, Nanda Kishore's follow-up project with Dhruva Sarja, titled '
Dubaari
', has been temporarily shelved owing to travel restrictions. With the film supposedly requiring to be shot majorly in foreign locales, producer Uday K. Mehta and the rest of the team have opted to put things on hold and instead offered
Dhruva Sarja a new script which is currently under preparation.
