Newbie Rishika Naik in Diganth’s next film with Ghouse Peer

Director Ghouse Peer, who made Sharpshooter with Diganth earlier, is currently shooting for their latest collaboration — an as-yet-untitled suspense thriller. We now have it that the filmmaker has signed up newbie Rishika Naik as Diganth’s pair in the film. The actress has already wrapped up her first schedule of shoot, which was held for over 10 days at a location in Bidadi.
Rishika, of course, is quite thrilled about debuting opposite Diganth. “I am a big fan of Diganth, especially his comic timing. I have seen him in films like Gaalipata and Pancharangi and am keenly awaiting the next schedule in Chikkamagaluru that will have both of us. As for my character in the film, well, I play Shraddha, a 20-something girl, who loses her parents early on. How I overcome adversities in life with the help of Diganth’s character forms a part of the narrative. There is a thriller element in my character, which I can’t reveal now,” she says.
