Producer Karthik Gowda sparked collaboration rumours after he posted a picture with Kichcha Sudeep with the caption “To new beginnings @kichchasudeepa sir.”
The post quickly went viral with many online users expressing happiness over the collaboration. While one Instagram user wrote: “Give us a break to recover from good films,” another user commented “Appreciate your business mind. What a revolution you have bought to in the Kannada film industry.” Another user wrote: “Blaze and glaze coming together.”
However, Karthik Gowda denied collaboration rumours by saying: “Nothing is concrete as of now. It was just a casual dinner. We met and had a nice chat. That’s about it.”
Rumours of Karthik Gowda and Sudeep collaborating started milling after the latter, during the release event of his movie Pailwan, pointed at Karthik, who was sitting on the stage, and said he is ready to do films with the producer. Rumour has that Karthik and Sudeep are in talks to bring together a sports drama, based on cricket. With Karthik saying ‘nothing concrete, yet’, we are only hoping that their plans will materialise soon!
