Parul Yadav's lucky charm

Kannada actress Parul Yadav may not be superstitious as such, but when it is mommy dearest who insists that she wear a certain good luck charm, there are no questions asked.
The actress, who plays a lawyer in the upcoming film Vaastu Prakaara, says, “I have been an interior designer and have seen enough clients who insist on design suggestions based on Vaastu — irrespective of whether it works for the overall look of their home or not.But closer home, it is my mom who insisted that I wear a yellow sapphire, as she feels it will work well for my career. I have been wearing it for a couple of years now as a finger ring. And, my career as an actress has, in fact, been pretty good. Now, if the credit for that goes to my hard work or my lucky stone — I really can’t say,” she admits.
