The lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic had put a pause for shootings in the
Kannada film industry
just like every other industry. Now, the government has allowed film shootings while following certain restrictions and so, the Kiccha Sudeep-starrer ‘Phantom’ which is directed by
Anup Bhandari is all set to begin shooting from the first week of July.
Director Anup Bhandari has finalised all the technicians for the movie. And now, even the music composer has been selected.
Ajaneesh Loknath
will be composing music for the film, and for the first time, he will be composing music for
Kiccha Sudeep
.
As per sources, the team has already started building the set of a forest worth Rs 6 crore at the
Annapurna Studios
in Hyderabad. This will be the first Kannada film to start shooting amid the coronavirus. The team of 150 people will be working on the set which will have two doctors, and everyone will have a check-up every morning and evening.
The team has already completed the first schedule of shooting before the lockdown and will start the second schedule from the first week of July.
Actress Shraddha Srinath
is playing the female lead role while
Nirup Bhandari will also be seen in a major role.
