Telling us more, Guruprasad says, “I have a unique role in Body God. I play the role of a 60-year-old man named

Puttanna

, who lives all alone and passes away suddenly. Acting as a dead person meant that I had to sit inside a refrigerator. Since it was such a tiny space, it was mentally and physically challenging. What happens with my body is what makes the story interesting.”
So, what one does Guruprasad enjoy more, acting or direction? “I began my career with writing, so direction and writing give me satisfaction. I act in films that have fresh subjects, which I found in Body God. Apart from director Prabhu Srinivas, who has done two films, most of the people in the film team are newcomers, but that by no means hampers creativity,” he sums up.
