Prakash Raj donates ambulances in the name of Puneeth Rajkumar

In memory of Puneeth Rajkumar, multilingual actor Prakash Raj foundation has donated over five ambulances to hospitals in various parts of Karnataka. These ambulances are named as Appu Express Ambulance.

Prakash Raj says, “We donated the first ambulance at our cultural capital Mysore. Now providing momentum to this work, five more ambulances are being sent across to five districts in our state. The ambulances are given to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bidar, Dr Om Indo German Hospital Chittapur in Kalaburgi, Lombard Memorial Hospital in Udupi, Holy Cross Convent Hospital in Kollegal and Gavisiddheshwar Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in Koppal.”


He further states, “One significant aspect this time around is that I am not doing this all alone. Many more people have joined hands in making this dream come true. Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi through his Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Tamil Star Soorya through his 2D Entertainment and our Kannada star actor Yash have offered a great help through his organization Yashomarga. His friend and producer Venkat has supported us through his KVN Foundation in making this donation of ambulances. We could have planned an event prior to handing over the ambulances. But Yash and I felt we could get another ambulance at the expense we would be incurred in conducting an event.”
