Premiere Padmini sequel will be a laugh riot, says Shruti Naidu

Premiere Padmini which received

appreciation

from viewers. The film directed by Ramesh Indira had Jaggesh,

Madhoo

, Vivek Simha,

Hitha Chandrashekhar

and Sudharani in lead roles.

The project which was extensively shot in Mysuru saw Jaggesh playing the role of a married man Vinayak who is getting divorce after he crosses the age of 50. In the movie, he shared sceen space with Madhoo for the first time. Actors H G Dattatreya and Bhargavi Narayan are seen in pivotal roles. Arun Janya had composed for tracks for the movie.

The film which got released in April last year touches upon relationships was well received by viewers. Buoyed by the response, the film team is now on the verge of completing the script work. The same star cast Jaggesh, Pramod and other will be retained for the sequel too. As there is lockdown is in place, the shooting has been delayed.

As the script work of Premiere Padmini is in its final stage, Shruti Naidu is gearing up for Premiere Padmini, she says, “The sequel to Premiere Padmini is getting. The first installment was serious and emotional, but the sequel will be a laugh riot. The star cast will remain the same, with some new additions.” Meanwhile, she is also preparing to start shooting for serials Brahmagantu and Yaare Ne Mohini from May 25 with all the precautionary measures to ensure no one from the crew gets infected from COVID-19.
