Priya J Achar juggles exams and films, loving every minute

Actor Priya J Achar had a request for the team of Romantic Rama Lovely Seetha, her second film. “I requested the team not to slot my portions of shooting during my internals or exams,” says the actress who is currently pursuing a masters’ degree at a city college and trying hard to strike a balance between studies and acting.

Though lucky to have got cooperation from the team, she has decided not to take up small-screen projects due to academic pressures. Priya started her career with the soap opera Gattimela and made her Sandalwood debut with Dhamaka. Romantic Rama Lovely Seetha is her first film after her marriage to actor Siddu Moolimani in February.
Elated to get back into work mode after her marriage, she tells us: “I play an 18-year-old and the story thrives on my character. I will be paired opposite newcomer Gaurav Aryan who is helming the project and Yash Shetty is playing the antagonist.” As for married life, she says: “I am enjoying every moment of it. It’s a wonderful stage of life.”
