Puneeth sir’s kids were my first students at my dance studio: Kishen Bilagali

"Puneeth sir was my cousin’s best friend, and he used to love the Biriyani cooked at my place. And Ashwini mam is my distant relative. When I was just 22, I started my own dance class in Sadashivnagar. And his children - Vandita and Dhriti - were my first students! He used to sometimes pick and drop his children from the studio. And this really helped me during my initial days to get more students. This is the bond I share with the family. It is unfortunate that I don’t even have a single picture with him! Now, since Appu had re-released, I thought it was a perfect time to shoot this song as a tribute. We shot the entire song in just 30 mins on and around MG Road, and had to wrap up before the traffic hits," says, Kishen Bilagali
