Rachita Ram has further upped the ante by signing on a biggie.

, one of the biggest projects to be announced in the Kannada industry, in the current times. The project also marks her third full-fledged onscreen outing with
Darshan, who she debuted with in BulBul.
“Rachita was our first and only option, because she fits the character to the T. And we were all in agreement about her being on board our film,” says the film’s maker,
Shylaja Nag. “And what makes it special is that Rachita’s role is not one of a glam doll or where she appears only for a song. Her part is actually crucial to the story and has a lot of gravitas,” states Shylaja.
Kranti is being helmed by
Harikrishna and will go on floors on October 25. The film also stars bigwigs like Ravichandran and
Sumalatha Ambareesh
in prominent roles.
