' completes four years today and social media is abuzz with all the congratulatory messages. A landmark film in many regards, 'Kirik Party' kickstarted many different careers in the Kannada Film Industry and has been instrumental in paving new paths for many youngsters. In fact, as many would already be aware, the hugely popular Rashmika Mandanna made her debut in the film and immediately set the pulses racing.

Similarly, one such up and coming entity of the industry is director Kiranraj K. Having found his big break as a writer on 'Kirik Party', Kiranraj K is currently helming the much-awaited Rakshit Shetty starrer '

777 Charlie

Kiranraj was part of Rakshit Shetty's coveted The Seven Odds team at one point and it was through the success of 'Kirik Party' that he, and many others like him, were able to plunge into the world of films. Post that, Kiranraj went on to direct the Sagara Sangama(starring Rishab Shetty and Hariprriya) segment in the 2019 anthology film '

Earlier today, Kiranraj took to Twitter to commemorate the success of 'Kirik Party' and also highlight the significance it holds in his life. In the endearing tweet, he shared a picture from the sets of the film and wrote alongside "This film has introduced so many artists and technicians to the industry. So many (from the film) have gone on to achieve tremendous success and so many journeys have been transformed because of the film. It is, indeed, a proud moment for me that I was one among those many people (sic)."


Within no time, the words reached Rakshit Shetty who was mighty pleased with the gesture and the sincerity that the director has exhibited all along. In his response to the tweet, Rakshit Shetty praised Kiranraj for his dedication and willingness to work hard. He also highlighted that Kiranraj's journey is bound to inspire many others but before all of that, he confessed that he is eagerly waiting for the response that '777 Charlie' is going to garner from the audience.


As '777 Charlie' gradually heads towards completion, the expectations among fans have been soaring up with each passing day. Much like many of his previous ventures, Rakshit Shetty has brought new talents to the fore and with Kiranraj helming '777 Charlie', Kannada Cinema will soon have another new voice in its repertoire. Alongside, it is also very heartening to see the camaraderie among the artists who are mutually supportive in all regards.
