Director Raghu Ram’s film,
Missing Boy
, which has
Gurunandan in the lead, is based on the true story of a boy who went missing from Hubballi and landed in Bengaluru. “Since there was no missing person report and no one came looking for him, the police put him in a remand room, from where he was taken to Sharda Sishu Vihar, and subsequently adopted by an Indian couple based abroad. Years later, he returns to India to trance his roots, a quest in which he is helped by a police officer, who facilitates his journey from Hubballi to Bengaluru and, eventually, New Zealand.
Rangayana Raghu will play
Lavakumar
, the police officer who had investigated this case. As inspector Lavakumar, Rangayana Raghu is key to whether Gurunandan finds his biological mother or not,” explains
Raghu Ram.
