Rashmika Mandanna to Ashika Ranganath - Times Fresh Face winners in Kannada films

The Kannada film industry has always been looking for new talent and one bonafide platform that has helped is the Times Fresh Face competiton. The industry has seen many heroines adorning the Sandalwood screens and there are new ones entering too. Here's a look at them.

Arguably one of the biggest stars to emerge from the platform, Rashmika went on from winning the national title to becoming one of the most sought after heroines in Kannada, Telugu and now Tamil too.

She was the first runner up in the Bengaluru round and she has now become one of the biggest contenders for the queen bee throne in Sandalwood.

Incidentally, she was the other runner-up in year that boasted Rashmika and Ashika as finalists. Siri has been seen on both small screen and big screen. Her latest release was Law.

She won the national title and has since been a constant face on the runway. She made her debut with Shivaji Surathkal. She has a few more films lined up ahead of her.

This Bengaluru Fresh Face runner-up bagged the lead role in Ek Love Ya, which means a launch through a film directed by Prem. She also has a new film with Chetan in the lead.

The newest entrant into film industry, Anjali was the national runner-up in the last season and has already been working as an intern in films in Hindi and Kannada. She makes her debut with a college caper.
