Rishab Shetty condemns ‘Jana Nayagan’ leak, calls it ‘unacceptable’, asks to respect cinema and stop piracy

Several star have been extending their support after a five-minute clip from the movie got leaked online of Tamil star Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Jana Nayagan’. Recently, ‘Kantara’ fame Rishab Shetty also expressed his the unfortunate issue, calling it a “serious and unacceptable act.”

Actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty spoke about this issue. He shared his thoughts on social media and supported the team. He said, “Cinema is built on passion, dreams, and love. Countless people work tirelessly to bring entertainment to audiences. When someone tries to tamper with that effort, even in the smallest way, it deeply affects everyone involved.”

Appeal to audiences to stop piracy

He also called the leak a “serious and unacceptable act.” He added, “As audience please do respect the efforts and stop spreading the leaked footages. Do not kill the strength to give you many more cinemas tomorrow. I stand in solidarity with the entire team and @KvnProductions during this difficult time. Protect our cinema family. #killpiracy.”




Many big stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, and Chiranjeevi also showed their support. They all said that piracy is wrong and should stop. They want people to respect the hard work behind films.



Recently, the makers also shared that they will be taking legal action and asked fans to circulate or watch the clip. “We, KVN Productions LLP, are the Producers and exclusive copyright owners of the cinematograph film “Jana Nayagan”. It has come to our notice that certain scenes and clips from the said film and in some cases most of the film have been illegally accessed, copied and circulated by unidentified persons, posing a serious threat of digital piracy,” they wrote.

‘Jana Nayagan’ is directed by H. Vinoth. The film has a strong cast, including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
