Rubix exposes the flaws in our education system

An upcoming Kannada film Rubix, featuring child artists Saathvik and Harikrishna in lead roles, will explore the flaws within our country’s outdated education system. The project is helmed by Ranjith Kumar Gowda, who is also the director of Yogi’s Kamsa.
Talking about the movie’s title Rubix, Ranjith says he was inspired by the fact that there are 46 trillion ways to solve a Rubix cube. “It keeps children curious. Similarly, imagine if kids begin to ask questions about things happening around them. Everyone including
teachers, parents and neighbors will start evading them. In fact, even the grown-ups are questioning the existing education system and its outdated methods. For example, why are we forcing children to learn mathematics in the age of calculators? These are glaring loopholes,” he says.
The film also has Vikrant Urs, Shankar Jaganath and Anikta Ramya in significant roles.
