Samyukta Hornad shoots for a Tamil short film

Kannada actress Samyukta Hornad has taken some time off to be a part of a short film called The Broken Tides, along with actor Sulile Kumar. The story, apparently shot quite like a feature film, is said to be 30-minutes long and has been written and directed by Sulile.
“I met Sulile on the set of another film we are working on. I found his idea for the short film interesting as it is about relationships.It focuses on what happens between a couple after the entire phase of being in love is over. It is shot over a road trip and that was even more exciting. Moreover, it was in Tamil and since I wanted to learn Tamil, this was like learning on the job,” says Samyukta.
As for Sulile, this will mark his first step towards direction. The team is almost through with the shoot and will now start post production work.
