Sanchari Vijay’s next movie focuses on global warming

film industry, National Award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay does not disappoint, as far as the choice of his next big screen outing is concerned. In

Taledanda

, he is said to be playing the character of a differently-abled person, who belongs to a tribal community. The film focuses on global warming.
“It’s a return-to-basics sort of a story, that highlights a burning issue that is a concern for everyone in the world today — global warming. I play a guy, who is part of the Haadi tribe, in

Chamarajanagar district

of Karnataka. I spent over a month with the tribals there, as more than the way they live, it is the dialect they speak in that proved to be more challenging to learn. The fact that there has been a certain amount of migration that has taken place among this tribal community is seen because their dialect is slightly more polished and understandable than one would expect,” explains Vijay.
While Vijay has been away from the screens for a while now, he tells us, “I am someone who is conscious of our environment and the way we treat it. And that’s why, I am thrilled to be working on such a beautiful topic that has been close to my heart. These are people who believe that their god is nature. The director, Praveen Krupakar, from Mysuru, has worked on this script for three years, and has come up with a wholesome story that is bound to touch people’s heart and if possible, make a difference in the way we think.”
