This hottie is out to teach you Kannada

Kannada actress Sanchita Shetty plays an RJ in her upcoming film Badmaash, which also stars Dhananjaya in the lead role. What's unique about this character is that she plays a girl who is passionate about Kannada, so much so that she works round the clock trying to teach people how to speak the language.
The film's director Akash Srivatsa tells us, 'This idea was born many years ago when I used to run a sparkler of a show on the radio about our city.It was a programme called Why Like This Kanta. One of the most popular sparkler episodes in those series had to do with the Kannada speaking population in our city.
'Ironically, even those who know how to speak the language sometimes refrain from speaking it, so what happens to all the non-Kannadigas who come in to stay here in the city...
'I often wondered why nobody has thought of opening language centres here where one can come in to learn how to speak Kannada. We have used that very idea in Badmaash, where Sanchita plays Priya, a girl who is out to teach Kannada to every non-Kannadiga, and this includes foreigners,' he adds.
