Senior film actor and theatre artist Master Hirannaiah from Mysore passed away today at a private hospital in Bangalore. Master Hirannaiah has acted in over 30 films. In addition, he was the creator of many plays. Hirannaiah, who had critical health issues, is survived by his wife and five children.
85-year-old Master Hiranyaiah, who was suffering from illness for many days, was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru. But today he passed away when his body did not respond to treatment. Hirannaiah's body will be brought to Banashankari's residence.
Hirannaiah was born in Mysore on February 15, 1934. His father K. Hirannaiah was also a writer, stage artist, actor, and director in Kannada film industry. He became really popular by the play ‘Lanchavatara’.
Master Hiranya's performance has won many awards like Rajyotsava Award, Drama Academy Award, Theater Award, Gubbi Veeran Award, Navaratnam Ramm Award. Also, he owns titles like Kalagaja Simha and Nata Ratnakar.
