Sanjana Anand to play college student in Addhuri Lover

Actress Sanjana Anand is paired opposite Viraat in the romantic

movie

Addhuri Lover, directed by AP Arjun, who had previously directed Kiss. The muhurtha of the movie was recently held at a temple in Bengaluru.

Speaking to us, Sanjana says, “I play a very exuberant, bubbly and naughty college going girl. It is the first time I am acting in an out-and-out romantic story, which will for sure impress the

younger audiences

a lot. We have started off with rehearsals this week. I am excited to begin shooting for the movie soon.”

Sanjana, who is one of the rising stars in

Kannada

cinema, recently dubbed for a movie directed by Shashank that has Prakhyath Paramesh in the lead role. The movie was shot extensively in

Chikkamagaluru

. She says, “I have done nine movies in my career till now, this will be for the first time I will be part of a female-oriented movie, which will showcase my acting prowess.”

Sanajana's last outing Kushka, which was released in February received lukewarm response at the box office. The movie saw her sharing screen space with Chandu Gowda.
