Shivanna and Puneeth Rajkumar promote 'Rajatantra'

The year 2021 is set to begin with the film '

Rajatantra

' for all Kannada Cinema fans. The Raghavendra Rajkumar starrer opens in cinema halls across the state tomorrow and will kickstart the proceedings for the industry which is keenly looking forward to putting up a great show in the coming year. 'Rajatantra' has been directed by the debutant PVR Swamy, who has previously worked as the DOP on the film 'Ammana Mane'.

Considering the fact that this would only be Raghavendra Rajkumar's third film after a 15-year long break from acting, both his brothers and fellow actors reached out to their fans & beyond to promote the film. Raghavendra Rajkumar shared their individual snippets on his Twitter feed earlier today.

Wishing the entire team and his brother all the luck, Puneeth left a short video message and encouraged viewers to watch the film.


In the same vein, Raghavendra Rajkumar's older brother Dr. Shiva Rajkumar welcomed everyone to the new year and wished great success to the entire team of 'Rajantantra'. Alongside, he also expressed delight at the fact that his kid brother has found interesting and veritable projects to work on and also wished that Raghavendra Rajkumar would continue being busy with such films. He also encouraged the audiences to come over to the cinema halls without any worry and spoke about the various facilities that theatres offer today to curb the spreading of the Covid-19 virus.

Coming to the film 'Rajatantra', Raghavendra Rajkumar plays the part of a retired military officer in the film who is disillusioned with the corruption and other bad evils prevailing in the society. Alongside him, the film's principal cast includes Bhavya, Doddanna, Shankar Ashwath, and Srinivas Murthy.
