The title of the film will be revealed soon.”
The news is an interesting development, considering that Anup Bhandari has also announced a superhero film on the same subject and even released a first look poster in September. According to legend, Ashwatthama was the son of guru Dronacharya and one of the seven immortals according to Hindu mythology. A courageous warrior, Ashwatthama fought on behalf of the Kauravas and is cursed by Krishna to roam the earth for 3,000 years. While Anup’s film explores if Ashwatthama could still be among us, it remains to be seen what Sachin will present in his interpretation of the mythological tale.
Shivarajkumar, who will next be seen in Bhajarangi 2, is committed to work on films with Vijay Milton, newcomer Kotresh Chapparadahalli and Ravi Arasu, so, it is not clear when the project with Sachin will take off. According to sources close to the actor, the first full-fledged film for Shivarajkumar since the pandemic will be the Vijay Milton film.
