film, Kajal, in Bengaluru and Mysuru. The young actress, who is excited about her Sandalwood foray, not only gave us a glimpse of her look in the film, but also shared details about her role. “There are multiple elements in the story that relate to my character. The story begins with my return from the US, and my excitement in meeting my family back home in India. In the course of exploring my new surroundings, I chance upon the hero, played by Santhosh Balaraj, and despite our very varied socio-economic backgrounds, I realise how good a person he is and fall in love with him. The actress is currently in Bengaluru, where she is shooting for “intense action sequences”. “Since my family is opposed to the idea of me being in love with Santhosh’s character, there are a lot of chase sequences. It’s exciting being a part of such scenes,” she signs off.
