Sindhu Loknath joins Bharath Bopanna for Kannada show

By her own admission, the pandemic has not been very conducive for Sindhu Loknath’s career. There was no work to look forward to, which she took in her stride and focused on other activities. “I took the time to build on my gardening skills and have a blossoming terrace garden now, which includes fruit and vegetable bearing plants, as well as ornamental ones. I also love cycling and whenever lockdown relaxations were announced I went on long rides. Of course, like most others, I spent a lot of time at home and watched digital content,” she says.

Things are looking better now for Sindhu, who has started shooting for an untitled

Kannada

web series directed by Amar and Daya, in which she gets to play an intelligence officer. “I have got one shot of the

COVID

vaccination, and am awaiting my next, as are most others on the set, if not already fully vaccinated, which gives a sense of relief and safety. That apart, we are following stringent safety measures during the shoot as well. In the show I am a RAW officer and am collaborating with

for it. The story revolves around the investigation into a series of bomb blasts in Bengaluru and should see me do a fair bit of action too. While most of the shoot is in Bengaluru, we are looking at a couple of other locations in Karnataka as well,” she signs off.
