As someone who completed her schooling from a convent school in Coorg,
Christmas is a festival that has long been part of actor
Thejaswini Sharma’s life. “As kids, we waited for December because the season was all about fun and
holidays. Since it was a Christian institution, we also got into celebration mode quite early in the month. Our school would come alive with hand-made festoons and decor.
Then there would be in-house plum cakes as well!” shares Thejaswini.
Christmas programmes were another highlight and she remembers being part of carol singing, participating in crib making and skits. “When I started working, it was a US-based company that I got placed at and come December, everyone got into holiday mode. We would wrap work early and start planning trips. Of course secret Santa was an integral part of our Christmas celebrations and my desk would be filled with cakes, gifts and decor,” smiles Thejaswini.
