Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to launch Ajai Rao and Rachita Ram's new film

On Sunday,

Love You Rachchu

, which stars Ajai Rao and Rachita Ram in lead roles, will be officially flagged off. This is going to be a special launch event as the team has got spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as the chief guest and it will be held at the premises of his

Art Of Living

ashram headquarters.

Bangalore Times was the first to let you know that Ajai and Rachita will be teaming up for this film, which has a title that coincides with Rachchu, a name the leading lady is fondly called by her fans and loved ones. Rachita had told BT, ""I was first told the title and I was awestruck. Then I heard the script and was blown away. I would not have let go of this project for anything. I am happy to be part of this team with so many reputed names including Shashank, Guru Deshpande and Ajai Rao. It feels like the beginning of a great journey."

In his interview with BT, Ajai had revealed, "At the risk of sounding cliched, I will say that the film will show me in an avatar that I have not been seen before. It is a genre I have not tried. It is a romantic thriller. I will be playing a character in his mid 20s. I've been preparing for that by getting myself in shape and researching looks. We are looking at launching this film around the last week of January."

The film, which will be launched on Sunday, is being helmed by newbie Shankar. It is scripted by filmmaker Shashank of Krishnan Love Story fame and it will be backed by Guru Deshpande. The team plans on commencing work on the film from next week itself.
