Actor
Srinagar Kitty has lost a dear brother to Covid-19 last week, following which Kitty and his family are in quarantine. “His brother suffered a cardiac arrest last Monday and was found
Covid-19 positive
only after his death. This was discovered only because cremation protocol requires Covid-19 clearance and that’s when the doctors found out that he was infected,” shares a source close to the family.
Since he was asymptomatic, the family didn’t know he was affected. “Kitty has nine siblings and with a brother gone, they are all dealing with the loss of a dear member of the family. He was 67,” adds the source. The cremation, we hear, was held only on Wednesday due to being Corona-19 positive. “It’s been 11 days after his death, so Kitty and
Bhavana are in quarantine but they have tested negative,” sums up the source.
Today, incidentally, happens to be Kitty's birthday and all his different film teams have taken this opportunity to wish him. Kitty is next going to be seen in
Garuda
, where he plays the role of a police officer. He also teams up with his long-time friend and associate Suni, as he has done a special role in the Sharan starrer
Avatara Purusha
. Apart from this, Kitty's first look from the
Prajwal Devaraj starrer Veeram was also revealed this week. He will be essaying a cameo in this film as well, where his character will have dark shades and is supposed to be pivotal to the narrative, according to the makers.
