Sruthi Hariharan is back on the sets for her upcoming film. The

on Thursday shared photos of herself from the sets as she began
shooting
for the second schedule of the film, which is being helmed by Surya Vasishta. The
film
marks a comeback of sorts for Sruthi, who has been busy with her
daughter
, Janaki. In fact, Sruthi shared photos of Janaki from the sets and how she naps in between during shoots. The actress, who is a doting mother, often shares beautiful moments of her family on her social media account.
The actress was seen dressed in a floral off shoulder dress whereas her daughter was seen in a bright yellow frock. Earlier, in an interview with Bangalore Times, Surya had spoken about this film and had said, "This is a film that I had written a while ago. I had, in fact, pitched it to Sruthi way back in 2016, and she had agreed to be a part of it. Unfortunately, the film did not take off then. And then Sruthi got busy with other commitments, marriage and motherhood. Now that she is set to return to films, I am glad that we are also ready to roll and Sruthi gets to play the protagonist in it. She plays a dancer named Maya, who is also a realist. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Deepak Subramanya, Shweta Gupta, Ravi Bhat, Ram Manjjonath, Pruthvi Banwasi and me. The story follows the emotional journeys, turmoils and the path to closure for these characters."
