Sudeep gives a glimpse of demon in him for his next

Exactly a year after his previous outing, Vikrant Rona, comes the official update about #Kichcha46, actor Sudeep’s upcoming bi-lingual film. The actor, who was extremely guarded about the content, had previously revealed that this will be the beginning of his ‘new avatar’.

The teaser opens in a scene set in what looks like an aftermath of a massacre, giving a glimpse of the ‘small situation of a big story’. Touted to be a dystopian, action-filled, dark ride, Sudeep’s fierce avatar and bloodstained-look are the highlights of the teaser. Ajneesh Loknath’s signature percussion music dominates the teaser as Sudeep asserts ‘I am not a human, I am a demon.’According to sources, the movie is said to take place in a day, with bloodshed and dark theme being the highlights.

The movie, simultaneously shot in Kannada and Tamil, has technicians from both the industries. Sudeep is collaborating with debutant director Vijay Karthikeyan for the project. The latest buzz is that Dhilip Subbarayan has been roped in to choreograph action sequences, which is said to be the heart of the film. Bollywood actor Simrat Kaur is likely to be roped in to play Sudeep’s love interest in Kichcha46. Vikrant Rona art director Shivakumar is also part of the crew.

During an interview with Bangalore Times recently, the actor had said, “Post-COVID, a lot has changed. We cannot invest 6-7 months of our lives in a film that the audience may not connect to anymore. The vision of the audience has changed completely, and we have to cater to that. I have always done films that excite me.”
