Sudeep on Sunday gave his fans a sneak peek into his upcoming film

Phantom

. The actor shared a glimpse of the film on his social media account and captioned the video saying, "Putting on makeup today was an awesome feel. Felt I was on an elaborated holiday away frm my passion. A passion called cinema.So here iam.....being,,,,,,, VIKRANTH RONA ,,,again. #PhantomBegins (sic)."

Shooting

for the film began earlier week in Hyderabad. Sudeep had earlier shared pictures from the set on Twitter as the team resumed shooting. The pictures showed crew members wearing masks on the set. Anup Bhandari, who is directing the movie, has taken all the necessary precautions to keep everyone on the set safe and healthy. The team had earlier installed a lavish set at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the team had already completed the first schedule of shooting before lockdown. Actress Shraddha Srinath will be seen in the film along with Nirup Bhandari, who will be seen in a major role.

Phantom sees Sudeep and Anup collaborate for the first time as actor and director. The film's promotional posters, which show Sudeep as Agent Vikrant Rona have won a lot of adulation from fans and followers. Music director B

Ajaneesh Loknath

will be composing music for the same. Though Ajaneesh and Anup have worked previously on films like Rangitaranga and Rajaratha, Phantom marks the music director's first time on a Sudeep film.
