Sumukha nurtures the writer in him during the lockdown

, who was last seen in Yaanaa, has been pursuing something different during the forced break due the

pandemic

. The young actor is exploring the

writer

within him and is working on a long story, which he is currently unsure will turn into a

novel

or

screenplay

.


"It was due to the insistence of my writer friends that I decided to pursue this. I am writing something that is based on what I have seen during this pandemic. It is a thriller story that is based on the virtual world that all of us have been so immersed in, especially during this time when we have been forced to be within the confines of our homes," says Sumukha.


The youngster says that while he set out to write a novel, he is now not sure how it will turn out. "I have been so used to the cinematic ways that this is ending up like a screenplay also. But, as of now, I want to finish this and then will see what form it takes. I am happy that it has kept me busy," he says. Sumukha, meanwhile, is also eager to see the release of his film Rajasthan Diaries that is being directed by his mother Nanditha Yadav.
