Suthradaari stars Apoorva and Chandan Shetty in lead roles

Actor Apoorva, last seen in Purushothama, has signed on for a new suspense thriller titled Suthradaari, where she will share the screen with Chandan Shetty. The project will be Kiran Kumar’s debut directorial in Sandalwood.
Apoorva says she will play a bubbly character with plenty of energy in the movie. "She is a typical, carefree modern girl. I have scenes with Tabla Nani, so you can expect a lot of funny banter between us. I am excited to shoot with him. I hope it will be a great learning experience. Additionally, Chandan Shetty is also making a mark as an actor lately, and I am sure our on-screen chemistry will be one of the talking points when the movie releases," adds Apoorva.
The actress will play a simple village girl in Jaya Jaya Janakirama opposite Akshith Shashikumar and in Pentagon. Apoorva, has also dabbled with direction. But she is on a temporary break from it. "I helmed O Nana Chetana, a children's movie, which got a good response. Currently, I am busy with acting. Once I finish my films, I will concentrate on directing again. It helps me experience the technical side of cinema more," she signs off.
