Thayige Thakka Maga is not only lead actor Krishna Ajai Rao’s milestone 25th film as hero, but also marks his third with director Shashank, after their successful combinations with Krishnan Love Story and Krishna Leela. Breaking away from their track record of love stories, the director-actor duo bring to the screen a tale about the fight for justice by a righteous mother and son.Produced by the filmmaker under his Shashank Cinemass banner, the film reunites Ajai with his onscreen mom from his debut Excuse Me, Sumalatha Ambareesh.

Thayige Thakka Maga is our third combination and has a dynamic story that gives Ajai an image makeover, pitting him as the angry young man with loads of action.
As the title suggests, the film explores the deep connect between the mother-son duo. She is a righteous lawyer, fighting for the good of society, and he is a righteous but rebellious youngster who believes in his mother’s crusade and supports her.
Amid the high-octane action and the emotional bond between the mother and son, there is a well etched-out love story. The chemistry between Ajai and Ashika Ranganath is to look out for.
The music by Judah Sandhy is a treat, especially the title track, Thayige Thakka Maga, by Chandan Shetty, Amma Ninna and Hrudayake Hedarike.
The plot of the film centres on the scams and atrocities involving a politico’s family, some of which is inspired by real-life incidents.
At its core, Thayige Thakka Maga is the representation of the common man’s anger about the flaws in the judicial system, corruption and much more.
