The pandemic proved to be a night­mare, says Komal

Komal, who is waiting for the release of 2020, is back in work mode, having signed as many as four movies. Though the pandemic was tough on him - he was critical and was in ICU for 20 days - he is now thrilled to be back in action.
Komal says, “Those days were a real nightmare and I hope to forget them. Everyone goes through bad phases in life and I did too. I want to leave behind those bitter memories and immerse myself in work.”
The film is directed by Mathivanan and marks the debut of television actress Asiya Firdose. “My forte is comedy, which I will continue in Kalay Namah."
Komal will also be seen in a sequel, Namo Bhootatma 2, being directed by choreographer Murali. Next year, the actor will commence shooting for Rolex, directed by Srinivas.
Another film, Ella Kunni Mere Naam Vajramuni, is set in the north Karnataka region. “I will be required to speak in a different Kannada dialect through this film. It will be a thorough entertainer. I hope to have a great 2023,” he says.
