Director Vijay says, “We are glad to have Ali on board. Although the story takes place in the backdrop of a college, Ali’s character is not connected to that. Instead, his character will be seen throughout the narrative as Rajeev’s friend. Apart from bringing in the requisite humour, the significance of his role will be revealed in the climax. Ali will be speaking a mix of Telugu and Kannada in the film, which he will dub for himself. He will join us by the end of September to shoot his portions."
