It is common these days for top actors to sing a song in others' films, but it is not often that four top stars come together to sing for one film. This is what

Chikkanna have sung four different songs for the movie, and Shivu, who is the director and composer, said that he tried this as an experiment. 'We first chose the actors and then sent them the tunes of the songs. All of them were inspired by them and signed on to sing them,' he says. So, was it hard to get the stars onboard? 'Not at all. I have been in the film industry for 12 years, and Appu (Puneeth) sir and Uppi (Upendra) sir were very cooperative. They really enjoyed their songs,' adds Shivu.
'Appu sir's song ' Nagarakatte ' is dedicated to
Shankar Nag and is about the film industry, so I thought that he would best suit it. Uppi sir's song ' Od Od Hontivri ' is filled with Uttara Kannada slang, and his base voice fits the song perfectly, while Vijay's melodic voice was ideal for the romantic number, Majabhhothagide. Chikkana's song ' Aa Chandamama ' is a pathos number. It is the exact opposite of what he is as a comedian, and I have been told that it is a hit with heartbroken people,' says Shivu, explaining why he chose the actors.
