As per a Pinkvilla report, recently, Yash and Kiara completed a major shooting schedule in Goa, where they filmed an elaborate song sequence choreographed by renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya. Following this, they have now moved to Bengaluru to begin a crucial leg of filming that will go deeper into the film's intense story. It has been indicated that this will include key scenes that are vital to the storyline.

Yash, Kiara, and Nayanthara's involvement has been confirmed by actor Akshay Oberoi, who stated that she plays a significant role in the film during an interview with Digital Commentary. There are rumors that Nayanthara has replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan in the cast after an issue erupted regarding the 'Jab We Met' actress's dates for the film.

The film, 'Toxic,' is set against the backdrop of Goa and revolves around the dark world of a drug cartel, exploring themes of power, love, and betrayal.

The teaser for 'Toxic' was released on Yash's birthday and has already resonated strongly with audiences, particularly in North India. Fans are excited to see Yash return to the screen in a gangster role following his success with the 'KGF' franchise. The film is being marketed as "A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups," and its release is targeted for late 2025.
