‘TS Nagabharana’s Jugari Cross will be the Indian Indiana Jones’

The film will feature actor Chiranjeevi Sarja

TS Nagabharana

’s next film promises to be a rather intriguing one. Touted to be Indian

Indiana Jones

, the film, titled

Jugari Cross

, is based on the novel of the same name by Poornachandra Tejaswi. Currently in the making, the film features actor Chiranjeevi Sarja.
Giving us a little insight into the project, the actor says, “The film is being shot in a rather interesting manner. The book was published way back in 1994, but the story is being recreated to be set in the year 2020 (which would be around the time of the film’s release). The difference in setting is almost 25 years. Today’s readers are totally different from those who read this book back then. So, it is a huge challenge to ensure that the story is relatable to audiences from then as well as now.”

Elaborating on the treatment of the subject, the actor explains, “I can proudly say this film is going to be the Indian Indiana Jones. We are looking at creating that kind of a look and feel. It will be a commercial-thriller, packed with action and adventure. Bharana uncle (TS Nagabharana) is equally thrilled about it and my friend, Pannaga (Nagabharana’s son) is also a part of that film.”
