The latest happening couple of tinsel town, Vasishta Simha and Hariprriya, who had a hush-hush engagement ceremony, are now busy handing out invites to close friends and stars from the industry. The couple, who could not keep their hands off each other during the latest presser where they confessed, in detail, about the beginning of their love story till the culmination of their engagement, is now super-excited about their wedding, which will be held on January 26th in Mysuru.
Dressed in colour coordinated traditional-yet-casual outfits, in shades of grey, green, Khakhi, white and maroon, Vasishta Simha and Hariprriya, personally handed out invitations to many actors, which includes his industry best friend and actor Dhananjaya, Kichcha Sudeep, Rishab Shetty, Upendra, Jaggesh, Ravichandran, actor-politician Sumalatha Ambareesh, veteran Anant Nag, Srujan Lokesh, Prem, Bengaluru MP Tejaswi Surya, Malashree, Dhruva Sarja, actor-politician Kumar Bangarappa among others.
Actor Jaggesh read out the wedding invite in front of the couple and posted it in on social media. In the video, the couple was spotted exchanging glances, while holding on to each other as the actor read out the entire invitation and asked the people of Karnataka to bless them.
The couple is said to have met during a movie premiere and spent some time together during Covid lockdown. Vasishta professed his feelings for her and proposed to her three years ago. Speaking about why they chose Mysuru for their wedding venue, Vasishta had said, “Chamundi Hills was a key element; I wanted to see it as my wedding venue. For my love, Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swamy is her favourite, and the idol is also at the venue. So, it all came together well.”
They are also planning to host a reception in Bengaluru on January 28.
