However, there is no link of the ‘Malgudi Days’ movie and TV series in this film. Kishore Moodbidri has written the story, screenplay, and dialogue and he himself is directing the movie.

Recently, Puneet Rajkumar unveiled the first poster of the film. The movie is produced by K Ratnakar Kamat under Swayam Prabha Entertainment & Productions.
