Vijayalakshmi Singh: I am proud of my kids

Director Vijayalakshmi Singh's upcoming movie 'Yaana' is ready for its big release. The star's three daughters Vaibhavi, Vainidhi, and Vaisari have played the lead roles in the movie along with new faces in the male lead roles.
Speaking about how the she went about penning the script, she said, “After many years, I decided to direct the movie again. I wanted to make a movie for the youth.I wrote the script with someone else in mind. I was observing Vaibhavi, Vainidhi, Vaisari during the script discussion. When I personally asked them they showed the interest. Everything came together, so I decided to bring all my three daughters for the movie.”
She went on to add that as the three girls were pursuing their studies, she could not let the film affect it. “Before making this movie, Jai Jagdeesh had a condition, there shouldn't be any problem with kids studies. But, they balanced very well when acting in this movie. They also passed exams with distinction. Their teachers are very appreciative,” she added.
“I had never given anyone a script before. I provided the dialogue before the shoot on the set and told them to pretend like they are being realistic,” said Vijayalakshmi.
