Vrithra is a close-to-reality depiction of a cop’s world

Vrithra releases across the state in about 100 theatres today. The movie, produced by Lalithaa, Shambulingayya Swami and Rajwanth Singh, looks at the journey of a young sub-inspector as she works on her first case.
The fact that the storyline delves into the world of

police officers

has quite the personal connect for producer Shambulingayya. “My father is a retired sub-inspector, so I have been privy to the kind of life that cops lead, the nature of their jobs and the struggles they have to overcome. What really appealed to me about

Vrithra

was that it closely recreated this world — the script had no unnecessary fights or rogue villains to be quelled. The depiction is really close to reality,” he shares, adding that he is elated about the young team that has worked on this ARVI Enterprises production, and is all praise for lead actor Nithya Shri. “She has done a fantastic job and Gautham has ably directed it. The story is fresh as it deviates from formulaic commercial films, and is sure to capture the audiences’ fancy,” he signs off.
