We ensured all safety measures were taken before shooting with fire: Thejaswini Sharma

At a time when you hear of influencers risking way too much for that perfect shot, Kannada actress Thejaswini Sharma’s recent photo shoot where she is seen in a garage surrounded by tyres and blazing fire, has fans praising the concept even while expressing concern about her safety during the shoot. “Experimenting with new photo shoots fuels my creativity, pushing the boundaries of my art and revealing unseen perspectives,” she says.

For this one, Thejaswini says, “I have always been keen on creating this dark, edgy look, especially since my Instagram feed otherwise looks way too colourful. I am lucky to have a team that is always down to experiment. Our photographer knew exactly how much fire was required and how to contain it, to be able to get these shots. We used smaller pieces of cloth for the fire effect, and a smoke machine to create the smoke. When trying out risky shoots, it’s imperative that you have experts who will ensure safety and that you trust your team.” And of what she feels it will do for her, Thejaswini says, “Looking at this ‘garage girl’, I imagine creators being drawn to capturing the rough, raw side of a character. A lot of my previous shoots have led to casting opportunities as these pictures help casting directors see you in a different light.”
