When a street in Mysuru came alive for Orchestra

A song was shot recently in the Gandhinagara area after a street was converted into a set for the film,

. The song, Sangeetha Saagara, Ee Gandhinagara was shot over three days with lead actors Poornachandara and Nagabhushan. The special set was erected by artist

Baadal Nanjundaswamy

. The movie has Rajalakhsmi as the female lead.

Director Sunil Mysooru says, “Gandhinagara is the home of orchestra singers in Mysuru, so we decided to shoot here as our movie is also about orchestra singers. In fact, 70-80 actors who have featured in this song still work in orchestra troupes. The song is a tribute to all those who want to perform on stage. Sangeetha Saagara, Ee Gandhinagara is a psychedelic song that will surely leave an impression on the audience’s mind.” Actor Dhananjaya has penned lyrics for this song. Raghu Dixit has composed the music.
