, which sees her paired opposite
Ajai Rao for the first time in her career. The team had a special event to release the video of the song
Muddu Neenu
in Bengaluru, where media got to interact with the team. During the interaction,
Rachita
boldly stumped the journalists from television media, who questioned her about the intimate scenes that she took part in the film that were seen in the visuals of the song.
When a journalist asked her about this particular sequence of scenes, a calm Rachita took them on by sharing, "I first apologise to people watching this, but I want to ask you, aren't you married, what does one do on a first night of the marriage? This song depicts exactly that bit in the small sequence, which has been aesthetically shot, without any vulgarities. I realised that this was required for the flow of the song and I have done the same. I don't think I have done anything wrong. Don't you have kids, so would that not be natural?"
This comment by Rachita has, of course, sparked a few people commenting on social media that she has spoken boldly for a female actor. Rachita, on the other hand, maintains that this was just her work as an actor and she went about the same in a professional manner. Interestingly, not one of the media persons present there had a similar question to ask the male lead Ajai about the same intimate scenes, especially given that he has also choreographed much. Now, isn't that something to reflect upon?
