Title of Yogesh's next
film
is out now. The film is titled
Lanke
and the title was launched on Tuesday. The launch saw the cast in attendance. The film, which is being helmed by Ramprasad MD, also stars
Sanchari Vijay,
Krishi Thapanda and
Kavya Shetty among others. Though the shooting for the film was completed before the lockdown last year, the titled was launched only on Tuesday. The launch was pushed due to the current pandemic and the lcokdown owing to the same.
The story of the film has been adapted from the epic Ramayana and will be set in a modern-day situation. While
Yogi will be seen playing Ram, Kavya will be seen in grey shades. According to a report in an English daily, Kavya's character will be of Ravana in a modern day setting. Karthik Sharma of Naanu Mathu Gunda fame has composed music for the film.
Meanwhile, all the actors have multiple films in their kitty. Yogi will be seen in Naanu, Adu mathu Saroja is helmed by Madamakki director Vinay Preetham and Lankasura, whereas Kavya will be seen in the Telugu remake of Love Mocktail. Sanchari Vijay, on the other hand, will be seen in Avastaanthara. The movie will see him pairing up alongside Ranjani Raghavan and Disha Krishnaiah.
