Yogi will be seen in three shades in an underworld-based film
The lockdown last year was a period of mixed emotions for actor Yogi, popularly known as Loose Maada. While there was much happiness in spending quality and quantity time with his family, especially toddler daughter Shrinika, there were a few unpleasant moments too, when the actor was called in for interrogation as part of an ongoing drug scandal. “The fact that I was called for inquiry was blown out of proportion. But I am not going to dwell on bygones and am looking at a positive start to the year,” says the actor, adding, “I enjoyed being a father during the lockdown. Shrinika has just started speaking a few words, which is a joy to hear. My life has changed after her birth; she brings a whole new perspective to it.”
His personal life apart, Yogi is also thrilled about the direction his career is taking in 2021. The actor is set to star in a home production called
Yogi who is set embark on a new journey, says, “After more than a decade in the industry, there was a desire to do something on my own. Kamsa, based on an underworld subject, will portray me in three different shades. I need to put on a bit of weight to get into the skin of character. We plan to start shooting from March in Mysuru, Chennai and Bengaluru.”
